Unlocked iPhone 3GS

Although the new iPhone 3GS looks quite similar to the original iPhone, it has changed considerably on the inside. Along with the great interface that was created with the iPhone prototype, the iPhone 3GS has many new secrets which make it one of the best phones on the market.
First of all, we must understand the name change. Many people wonder why the iPhone 3G only evolved to have an extra S. Well, the S stands for speed. Being one of the primary complaints from customers, speed was one of the main issues of the original iPhone. After it was upgraded to the 3G network, people still believed that Apple had not stayed true to the promise of speed. The new iPhone 3GS is fast. In fact, it downloads and surfs almost twice as fast as its predecessor. The speed is noticeable as the lack of delay time in opening iPhone apps.

Another important feature of the new iPhone is the battery life. As many iPod and iPhone owners know, Apple products tend to lack the battery life that the company promises. However, the new iPhone promises an amazing 10 hour battery life on video, 9 hours on web browsing, and 300 hours of standby.
Finally, the iPhone 3GS features some amazing new firmware. The new firmware 3.0 is yet another step up from the Apple software. Including more advances to the MobileMe features and many other features which were requested by Apple users, the firmware finally makes true some of Apple's promises. It even supports video, which has been demanded since the iPhone first came out.
Arriving at $199, the iPhone 3GS is an improvement over the original iPhone. However, it would be false to say it is a breakthrough. Although the new iPhone has amazing speed and some great features, it is in fact, not quite that much different from the iPhone 3G. Many customers who don't have too much need for speed may even decide to get the original iPhone 3G instead, which is now priced at only $99. However, for people who enjoy surfing the web frequently on their iPhone, it may be time for an upgrade.
