Blackberry Storm 9500 Unlocked Phone - My Personal Review
After using it for a month or so now, I must say that I'm very satisfied with this mobile phone from Blackberry. No hang ups, everything it does...it does it with great ease and speed. Matter of fact, I decided to give it a side by side test with another mobile phone (iPhone), and I found that it loads web pages and applications way faster than the iPhone!
Along with that, you would find comments of other users saying that they are having syncing problems with the Blackberry Storm 9500 Unlocked Phone. HOWEVER, I haven't experienced any of those!
There are comments about the clickable screen as well, saying that they don't care for it. Not in my case! Matter of fact, I really LOVE it. While my fingers are NOT huge, they are NOT tiny either. The full QWERTY keyboard woks just fine for me. One thing I would like to point out - the more you use the typing feature the more you get a feel for the typing on the virtual keyboard.
There is one semi major issue that I would like to point out about this Blackberry Storm 9500 Unlocked Phone - it's kind of hard to find a well built unit. The first 9500 I set my sights on got some sort of contaminant under the glass of the screen. The second 9500 I had came with a bad microphone. The third Blackberry Storm 9500 Unlocked Phone I got have a problem clicking on the edge of the screen. Finally, the fourth Blackberry 9500 I got is the winner!
Good thing, my phone provider switched out the phone without any questions asked. They really wanted me to be a happy and satisfied customer.
Here are some minor complaints (BUT not serious enough to downgrade the phone's quality)"
- I think the music data - the album's name, the artist, title of the song, etc. should be editable on the device instead of editing it on Windows and transferring it to the phone.
- The data being displayed while the song is playing doesn't appear to be configurable.
- I'm looking forward to a 32 GB Micro SD card option. HOWEVER, the 16 GB upgrade option is just fine.
- Last BUT not the least, I think it would make more sense putting the Micro SD card slot somewhere outside to make it easier to switch and replace cards.
In conclusion, I'm recommending the Blackberry Storm 9500 Unlocked Phone! Just make sure that the one you get doesn't have any issues or problems when it comes to functionality.
