- This Moto Phone boasts a durable, flush fitting keypad that makes it easy for you to make phone calls, type and send text messages, etc. Along with that, it also boasts a large electronic ink display that you can easily view in direct sunlight. Not to mention you can store up to 250 contacts using the phone's built in memory.

Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone - My Personal Review
I grabbed the Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone on a whim. You see, my dad's phone has sustained a big crack on its screen...so I figured why NOT upgrade him with a new phone?
He's NOT into gadgets and gizmos so he doesn't need those features like cameras, Bluetooth, Wi Fi...he doesn't even want a colored screen for that matter!
When I received the box, I found it a little shocking that the instruction manual was in Spanish! This is NOT a huge deal at all since I easily found the instructions on the internet and found an English manual for download.
HOWEVER, this can be an annoying experience for other people who are expecting something better out of the box. Next surprise - the default language is also in Spanish! Again, not a problem since the phone "speaks" to you and asks you what language what you want it to be defaulted to when you power it up. All you have to do is press 3 and it will be set to English.
Once you have it on, you can keep the phone in "Voice Guidance" mode, which I find very user friendly and helpful especially for my dad who isn't very tech savvy. After pressing the Menu button which is located to the left of the navigation pad, you can find your way through the different menu items with the pad and you have a voice to guide you as to what menu items you are on. This makes up for the Black and White screen and very dull looking icons.
In conclusion, I would say that the Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone is excellent as an entry level or emergency phone. As for the call quality, it's very good - rivaling any phones I have laid my hands on. Not to mention the volume is loud enough and very clear...so clear it's near perfect!
Let's take a closer look at some of the pros and cons...
Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone - The Good Side
- The signal strength is FANTASTIC!
- Calling with this Motorola phone is crystal clear.
- The battery life is quite solid.
- The looks: makes it appear to be more sophisticated than it really is! It's slim and classy.
- And last BUT not the least - it comes with the very user friendly Voice Guidance mode that you will surely love!
The Not So Good Side Of The Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone
- As mentioned earlier, the Spanish manual and default language can be an unpleasant surprise for some.
- It comes with a low resolution and monochrome LCD screen.
- It doesn't have any of the modern bells and whistles that top Blackberry and Nokia phones have.
- The feel - it's kind of plastic - not that solid.
- If you are a huge fan of text messaging, you may want to steer clear from the Motorola Motofone F3 Unlocked Phone.
