Now let's get to the flip side of the coin. The minor but potentially annoying quirks that this Motorola mobile and music phone has:

- This phone makes a slight chirping noise when you are pressing buttons. Not a biggie for me BUT I would be happy if Motorola could get rid of it.

- The notification 'ding' after every call or text message you receive could be a nuisance. And even worse, getting rid of it is hard!

After a couple of days of using the Nokia E72, HOWEVER, I soon realized that my Nokia E71 spoiled me. No doubt, the Nokia E72 is an amazing phone no matter how you look at it...staying in the league with E71 and other top notch mobile phones from Nokia. HOWEVER, it didn't present anything new to the fore except for a couple of features.

My advice - if you are on the hunt for a Nokia phone or any mobile phone for that matter, the Nokia E72 is highly recommended. If, like me, you are a huge fan of Nokia, go ahead - upgrade and get the latest model. HOWEVER, if you are happy with your Nokia E71, I would think about upgrading. True, the Nokia E72 is way faster than its predecessor, the camera has is hands down awesome, and at the looks department, the Nokia E72 scores heavily.

But there are a couple of things that you should know:

- The construction of the Nokia E72 is not as good as the E71. This upgrade is a little lighter than its predecessor. Some metal parts are replaced by heavy and hardened plastic. Some are saying that the battery panel of the Nokia E72 is a little loose BUT I'm yet to experience such problems. My Nokia E72 is made in China while my E71 came all the way from Finland. I think no matter where a phone is made, Nokia or another brand, there will always be problems.

This is NOT a huge issue at all.

- Let's take a look at the optical pad - it's nice. It may take a little time for you to get used to it, and it can also misinterpret your choices to click any of the sides for a movement from time to time. Overall, however, I'm already getting used to it. And if you don't like it, you can easily switch it off!

- I have noticed a slight high pitched buzz when I turn up the volume of my Nokia E72 and the sound coming from the other end when I'm calling is on the loud side. My Nokia E71 never had such problems. It's possible that the speakers were downgraded. It's also possible that the extra plastic is causing some sort of vibration.

Bottom line - if you are on the hunt for a phone that looks way better than the rest of the smartphones out there while still having all the nice and essential features, the Nokia E72 is yours for the taking!

The speakers - I love how they are placed on the sides of the phone. You see, I do a lot of talking while on the speaker phone and this helps greatly. I don't have to flip it upside down during a call. PLUS, the fact that they are pretty decent and produce very good sound quality - the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen is a sure winner in this department!

The Hardware Department
The Nokia N900 - its first name is FAST, middle name is FAST, and last name is FAST. Do I need to say more?!

I haven't experienced any hang ups so far. I can open and close applications on my own will without any hassle whatsoever.

The camera that the Nokia N900 has is very good for a 5 megapixel camera. While you cannot compare it to other expensive and dedicated cameras, it is way more effective for quick shots and uploads to Facebook.

As for the battery life, it seems to last over a day - with some text messaging and internet surfing. Wi Fi is on 'round the clock whenever I'm home.

My Experience With The LG KP500 Cookie:
Well, this Cookie from LG is INDEED delicious!

You see, I'm someone who travels frequently - back to the United Kingdom, and this phone works excellently for me. Since the LG KP500 Cookie is a Quad Band and GSM phone, it means I can grab a removable sim card that I can use as a pay as you go phone when I'm at the UK, and then switch it back to my usual sim card when I'm in the United States.

HOWEVER, you are only limited to AT&T as well as T Mobile in the United States since the other carriers are NOT compatible with GSM phones. I'm not really sure why.

The LG KP500 Cookie that bought in the UK comes with an adapter for 110 v as well as 220 v charging - which is nice since...allowing you to charge up when you are in other countries. Along with that, the LG KP500 Cookie comes with a screen protector and the casing itself feels great - it looks classy and durable...NOT cheap.

Now onto the camera - the quality isn't great BUT good enough. It's just like any phone cameras - the quality is a little grainy. And I really don't use it that much since I have a high quality digital camera for taking pictures while on the go so this is NOT an issue at all for me.

Wrapping things up - the LG KP500 Cookie is a little phone that is more affordable and less heavy and bulky than the legendary iPhone. Should you need accessories for it, eBay is a nice place you should go to. Matter of fact, I just grabbed a leather case that suits it perfectly along with a car charger. I've been using it for about 7 months now and I'm pleased with it!

Oh! One last thing - check out the phones latest firmware, which as far as I know is V10n. That will make your LG KP500 Cookie a lot better. While the install is a little tricky and can be done only on a Windows Operating System, it's well worth the effort - it increases the LG KP500 Cookie's performance by a mile!

Blackberry Gemini 8520 - My Review
Sleek and very easy to navigate - those are the first impressions that the Blackberry Gemini 8520 made.

Back then, before I had this phone, I had the Blackberry 8120 - and the difference between these 2 models are miles apart! You see, the Blackberry Gemini 8520 takes a little longer to charge up BUT it's all worth it. The talk time I get from it is significantly longer than my previous Blackberry phone.

Now as for the keys, I think Blackberry could improve on it - I wish it could light up a little brighter. BUT it's NOT a huge issue. I easily got used to it after using it for a couple of days.

There is one minor issue I have with the Blackberry Gemini 8520 - I think there are NOT enough applications or themes that are made for this model. YES, I have to admit, I'm a mobile phone geek. BUT this was easily fixed by downloading a couple of applications and themes from my 8120 to my Blackberry Gemini 8520.

Checking around the internet also does the job. I found a couple of more themes that are amazing...or better yet jaw dropping. There's a 2 gb memory card that comes along with the Blackberry Gemini 8520. BUT foreseeing that it won't be enough for the themes and applications I'm downloading, I plugged in my 4 gb memory card (from the Blackberry 8120).

I think I read somewhere that they will be releasing a 16 gb memory card for Blackberry Gemini 8520 and pretty soon, a 34 gb memory card will be also available. I believe it's in the works now.

As for the quality when it comes to web browsing, I'm giving it two thumbs up. I never had any problems when it comes to dropped calls, lost signals, the keys for text messaging. Everything about the Blackberry Gemini 8520 feels and looks great!

You can even pull up the built in dictionary while you are text messaging. There are so many useful stuffs and niceties that the Blackberry Gemini 8520 has. Heck! Just like a computer, it even comes with a firewall!

It could take hours outlining all of the features of the Blackberry Gemini 8520. BUT here's a better idea - grab one for yourself and enjoy it!

Just like all of the top end Nokia mobile phones out there, it comes with its guns blazing...blazing a lot of great built in features - GPS navigation, camera and video, a music player, FM radio, built in Wi Fi, 3G and those are just to name a few.

Loading up the applications is as easy as pie! As for the native browser, it also loads up pretty quickly. Wi Fi reception is excellent and the GPS navigation locks within seconds after firing it off. If you want a music player, phone, navigation system, and Wi Fi in one neat package, the Nokia X6 Unlocked GSM Phone is your best bet!

Next stop - the glass touchscreen - it's laser accurate and very intuitive to use. The display of the Nokia X6 Unlocked GSM Phone is beautiful. Well, there is a haptic feedback. It's a little inconsistent or delayed. I don't find it distracting however.

The layout of the menu has been enhanced too. Matter of fact, it took me just a day to figure everything out! All of the sub menus, options, etc. is just a tap or two away. Finding the Contacts layout located on the home screen is also very useful.

HOWEVER, as with anything, the Nokia X6 Unlocked GSM Phone is NOT perfect. There is one issue I have with it - the headphone that comes along with it is NOT too loud or soft. The controls are not fine tuned. But no problem - that's something I'm already accustomed to as my Nokia N95 have the same issues (and more).

I have been using this phone for about a month now, and that has been very blissful from me!

My phone before this one is a Samsung Star touch screen phone, which is good. HOWEVER, this Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition blew this one out of the water. For one thing, the Samsung phone I previously owned doesn't have Wi Fi and GPS.

With the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, you can do pretty much anything you like while on the go - Wi Fi internet, watching videos on Youtube...the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition can do it all. So you got lost while you are driving and walking? Worry NOT! The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition will be your savior.

Let's take a look at the pros and cons of the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition:

The Good Side:
- The battery life - it's pretty decent even if you are someone who does heavy web surfing as well as GPS navigating. If NOT, the battery life of the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition is SUPER!

- As for the build quality, I'm giving it two thumbs up. It comes with a silver metal lining around the phone. True, it's pretty heavy compared to the Samsung Star. BUT it's also has a more solid feel than my previous phone.

- With the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, you get free map updates for the rest of your life! You may be asking, just how good is the GPS navigator? I also own a Garmin 255 W GPS and I must say that the GPS navigator of this Nokia phone is almost at par with it when it comes to accuracy! Along with that, the voice on the GPS sounds more human compared to the robotic voice that my Garmin GPS has.

- Quad band unlocked - YES, that means you can take this phone anywhere and you can be confident that you can put any sim card and it will work. AT&T and T Mobile works fine with it, too!

- The Sim card as well as Micro SD card slots are conveniently placed on the side of the phone unlike other phones where you have to open it up, take off the battery, before you can plug in your cards.

- Another nicety - the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition has 2 phone cameras. The main one is found at the back and the other one is in front - suitable for you people who love taking pictures of yourselves.

The Bad Side:
- The quality of the main camera is pretty average. It doesn't look like it is a 3.2 mega pixel camera.

- It doesn't come with a screen protector unfortunately. I have to buy one myself.

- Dialer keypad doesn't come with letters when you dial numbers. This could be a problem if you want to dial a number that is disguised in letters.

I think that's about it. Bottom line - the pros outweigh and outnumber the cons. And with that, I highly recommend the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition!

Think about it, where can you can find a $300 that has all of the functions that this phone has - 3.2 camera, touchscreen, even more customizable than iPhone, external memory, and those are just to name a few.

As for the touchscreen, I think it boils down to personal taste. I never owned an iPhone. As for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Unlocked Phone, its touchscreen is very responsive. After grabbing it and getting used to it, I borrowed a friend's iTouch and I must say that the Nokia 5800 is the winner!

You may argue that it's a resistive screen, BUT from my experience, it's very responsive and that's all that matters as far as touch screens are concerned. Again, this boils down to personal taste.

The Good Stuff
- This phone is starting to have more apps compatible with it. You just have to know where to find it for FREE!

- The macro of the camera is fantastic!

- I got the GPS navigation if this phone for turn by turn direction, and I must say that it's a dream come true. Gone are the days that you will be lost for directions. PLUS with the voice direction thing, this gadget is elevated to the ranks of real GPS!

- The speakers of the phone are also awesome. It's really loud and the quality is just as good when you use and plug in the ear pieces.

- Another thing I love about the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Unlocked Phone is the cable that you can plug into the TV. I love converting videos and all I have to do is plug the phone into the TV and viola! It's as easy as pie.

- The screen of this phone is astoundingly clear as well. I would say it's one of the best I have ever seen.

The Not Too Good BUT Not Too Bad Side
- The camera - as for that one, I'm not sure. Sometimes, it takes excellent pictures. Sometimes it sucks BIG TIME. When there is too much light, it doesn't work like I want it to. When there is no light, the same thing can be said.

- For other people, it may be OK BUT this phone is finger print magnet! Only the back of the phone is matte. The rest of the mobile phone will have your finger prints all over it.

- As for the battery life, it's definitely not the best. BUT it's NOT the worst. Decent enough I would say.
