HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone - My Review
I got my HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone back in December. And after four months of use, I can confidently say that I'm totally happy with this mobile phone and computer in one.
First and foremost, the HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone is extremely fast compared to other mobile phones out there. And it's all thanks to the 1 GHz Snapdragon processor that it is equipped with. Another great feature that this HTC phone proudly carries is the high screen resolution as well as a screen size that's big enough to make web surfing and browsing on the phone breeze.
While I cannot say that the still pictures I captured with this HTC phone is of outstanding quality (Since SE phones can take better pictures with lower mega pixels), video recording with the HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone is a pleasant experience. Now mind you - there is no button for the shutter so you need to click on the screen for you to take pictures, which is a little inconvenient.
The battery life - this one exceeded my expectations. I need to charge my phone every second day, which is impressive. Think about it - it comes with a high resolution screen as well as an uber fast cellphone processor...stuff that are power hungry and can sap your battery's energy in no time.
The screen of the HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone uses nearly the full width of the body. Sometimes this causes unexpected clicks when I grab the phone BUT I'm slowly getting used to it.
When you are browsing email messages, the shell button comes with a Reply To All button on the left and when you click it, it turns to Send. There was a time that I grabbed the phone and accidentally sent an empty message to a huge distribution list. With that in mind, be very careful. I hope HTC would do something about it.
The sound level as well as the quality (when I'm conversing on the phone) is excellent. Along with that, my own Highlander hands free connects with the HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone with excellent sound level. As far as the built in GPS it has, I haven't had the chance to use it. I'm not expecting something special or James-Bond-like out of the GPS. It's not a biggie for me.
The sound level and quality in conversations is excellent. Also, my Highlander hands-free connects very quickly with good sound level.
So far I did not have chance to use built-in GPS. I don't expect anything special comparing to other similar phones.
The HTC HD2 T8585 Unlocked Smartphone - highly recommended!
