Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked Phone - My Review
I have been using this jet black Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked Phone for about 3 months now. Let me show you the good stuff, the OK stuff, and the ugly ones. Let's go!
Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked Phone - The Good Stuff
- It comes with a FREE T Mobile 1 year family plan! Anything that's FREE is good. Well, maybe not BUT this certainly is.
- This Motorola comes with better reception than my previous 3 year old Nokia phone - the 6610. Two thumbs up in the signal strength and reception department.
- Thanks to the European charger and US adapter, I can use the same phone when I'm travelling to Europe and Asia. All I need to do is get a pre paid SIM card or chip locally.
- You can charge it from your laptop thanks to the USB cable included in the package.
- Last BUT not the least, it's BLACK! I love BLACK!
- It's BLACK.
The OK Stuff Of This Motorola Phone
- The voice quality of the Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked Phone is quite passable. Maybe it would have been better if it's NOT GSM technology since there are areas outside of cities where coverage is NOT that great.
- I like the slim profile BUT it's a little heavier than my previous Nokia 6610 phone.
- It comes with nice colors on the screen, great ring tone sounds - stuff that are pretty much standard nowadays.
- The Bluetooth range is pretty decent. I once paired this with a headset of mind - the Jabra BT800, and I can pick up the laundry inside the house with my ear piece and listen to the music being played on my phone which is inside the car outside.
The Bad Side Of The Motorola RAZR V3 Unlocked Phone
- The battery life - it's ridiculously short! The 7 hours of talk time they are advertising is misleading I must say. You see, the phone starts beeping after 2 to 3 hours of talking.
- The organizer included with the phone - the calendar, alarm, notes, contacts, and everything else is NOT in sync with Microsoft Outlook.
- The camera included has a low resolution. You can easily find phones that have resolutions that are twice as better. With that in mind, the pictures are always sort of dark.
- The camera doesn't take video!
- It doesn't come with a radio. I find this kind of surprising since many of the Nokia and Sony mobile phone models are comparable to the iPod shuffle already.
