The Nokia N900 unlocked cell phone from Nokia is fully compatible with popular GSM carriers like AT&T as well as T-Mobile. However, it may not support ALL of the carriers.
The Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen is NOT compatible with CDMA carriers such as AllTel, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, and the like. This mobile phone, or better yet mobile computer, comes with its guns blazing - boasting a full cellular voice as well as messaging capabilities. Along with that, it comes with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, a slide out and full QWERTY keyboard, and topped off with a powerful Maemo 5 Operating System.

Inside The Box:
When you grab the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen package, you get everything you need to communicate when you want and how you want - the handset, the battery, a travel charger, stereo headset, video out cable, cloth for easy cleaning, as well as instructions for operating the phone.
The Physical Layout Of The Phone
I must say that the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen is one beefy phone! While it is true that it's a little hefty, it's solid and has a well built feel to it. The metal rim of the phone has a nice touch BUT not too gaudy. The slide, on the other hand is NOT spring assisted. HOWEVER, it gives a nice click when you open and close it.
I have been using it for quite some time now and I'm yet to see any creaks of wobbles from the screen. I think the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer will stay with me for quite some time.
The keyboard - it's perfect! It's a far cry from the G1 and typing in the keyboard felt way better. The keys have a rubberized texture and grippy feel to it...making it easy for you to press the right keys. While the buttons are clustered next to each other, they have a very good response. Another thumbs up in this department!
The speakers - I love how they are placed on the sides of the phone. You see, I do a lot of talking while on the speaker phone and this helps greatly. I don't have to flip it upside down during a call. PLUS, the fact that they are pretty decent and produce very good sound quality - the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen is a sure winner in this department!
The Hardware Department
The Nokia N900 - its first name is FAST, middle name is FAST, and last name is FAST. Do I need to say more?!
I haven't experienced any hang ups so far. I can open and close applications on my own will without any hassle whatsoever.
The camera that the Nokia N900 has is very good for a 5 megapixel camera. While you cannot compare it to other expensive and dedicated cameras, it is way more effective for quick shots and uploads to Facebook.
As for the battery life, it seems to last over a day - with some text messaging and internet surfing. Wi Fi is on 'round the clock whenever I'm home.
I'm giving the Nokia N900 Unlocked Phone/Mobile Computer with 3.5-Inch Touchscreen my highest recommendation!
