Nokia N97

The Nokia N97 has all the looks of a great phone, but is it really worth it? Featuring a comfortably large touch screen, and a full size keyboard, the Nokia N97 has all the hardware of phone greatness. However, after use, one can see that this phone really doesn't live up to the hype.
First of all, the Nokia N97 looks great. It's a bit long for a phone, but the space is all used up for its extremely large touch screen. The phone also has its own QWERTY keyboard, which allows for easy typing or texting. The phone also has support for many typical phone features, such as 3G and Bluetooth. One of the best things about this phone is that it comes with 32 gigabytes of memory built in, allowing users to store plenty of their own stuff. The phone also contains a 5.0 MP camera, which is far above the quality of the average phone camera in the industry. Finally, the phone has many great features, including a built in GPS.
However, the Nokia N97 is quite a mess on the inside. The interface of the Nokia N97 is pretty difficult to work with. Compared with the simple and elegant touch interfaces found within the iPhone and other great phones, the Nokia N97 really lacks in this area. The phone is cluttered and not very responsible. Its outdated operating system really doesn't allow it compete with other high end phones in the market. Unfortunately, Nokia hasn't caught up with the new generation of phones who provide great hardware AND great software.
The killing blow to the Nokia N97 comes from its price tag. Many customers complain about the $700 price which comes with this phone. Sure, it has features that are pretty good in the phone industry. But is it really worth the same as a decent laptop? The Nokia N97 may seem like a pretty good phone on the outside, but it really doesn't live up to its name. Unless one is willing to burn this much money on a mediocre phone, the Nokia N97 should generally be avoided.
