The Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is a sleek phone from Samsung which was created in order to compete with other full touch screen phones. Besides looking great, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is an extremely functional device.
The outer appearance of the new Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is quite similar to many other phones. With a high quality touch screen taking up the majority of the front side, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is pretty much all controlled by gesture. The Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia also has a 5 MP camera, which is a pretty good addition. Other good features on the side include a 16 gigabyte internal memory and a built in GPS. The Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia also has a speaker built into the back and is able to play radio at a pretty decent quality.
What really runs the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is the Windows Mobile which is the operating system of the whole device. Like any other phone with Windows Mobile installed, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia has many applications in the form of widgets already installed in. This allows the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia to be a very functional phone, with great applications such as virtual mail. The Windows Mobile operating system functions great in this sleek phone.
However, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia isn't perfect. One important issue with this phone is the lack of 3G support. Because of the operating system, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is built for web surfing. However, with 3G support, speeds may suffer on the EDGE network. Another problem with the phone that many users have complained about is the keyboard. Although the touch screen is pretty responsible, the keyboard isn't easy to use, which is important if one wants to text on this full screen phone. Because of these issues, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia cannot be given an extremely high rating compared with the other phones.

Nonetheless, the Samsung SGH-i900 Omnia is a cool looking phone. The appearance is worth bragging about, and the phone can perform the majority of tasks one would need to do. Issues such as the network and the virtual keyboard are minor unless one needs to use the phone extensively.
