The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is a smartphone that is the first in the Xperia series. It was unveiled in 2008 and has gotten rave reviews every since its debut.

The X1 is an arc-slider phone with a Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.

The huge three inch touchscreen overlays the keypad which is revealed when you slide the touchscreen face up. The touchscreen is as near perfect as they get with its 65,536 color TFT WVGA display.

The impressive and powerful onboard camera boasts 3.2 megapixels and this camera can shoot video at 30 frames per second in VGA quality. You'll take excellent photos that are perfect for framing. For video-conferencing purposes, there's also a front facing camera in QCIF format.

The Sony Ericssson Xperia X1 comes with 512 MB of internal memory and is expandable up to 32 gigabytes with the use of a microSD card.

The most unique feature on the Xperia X1 is that the homescreen supports up to nine 'panels' that can be interchanged, with each panel offering a different function. So you decide what function you want on the homescreen and simply switch the panels.
